What are the benefits of 3D/4D ultrasounds?
The benefits of 3D/4D ultrasounds include enhanced bonding with your baby, the ability to see facial features and movements, and capturing precious memories through images and videos. These ultrasounds provide a unique perspective on your baby’s development, making it a cherished experience for parents.
What is an elective Ultrasound?
An elective ultrasound is a non-diagnostic ultrasound done for entertainment purposes only. We offer elective 2D, 3D, and 4D ultrasounds.
What if I do not want to find out gender?
If you want to keep the baby’s gender a surprise, not a problem! The area of the baby’s gender can easily be avoided throughout the ultrasound.
If I’m having twins can I have a 3D/4D ultrasound?
Absolutely! We recommend having the ultrasound done between 22 to 26 weeks for the best chance at capturing both babies. We will do our best to obtain images of them together, however please keep in mind that twins are much more difficult to photograph.
Are there any Covid-19 restrictions?
No. Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted.
Do you accept health insurance?
No. We perform diagnostic and elective non-diagnostic ultrasounds at an affordable price to fit any budget.
Can I have my family and friends with me?
Of course! This is a special bonding experience that you and your loved ones will never forget. Our ultrasound room is big enough to accommodate large groups. Please let us know approximately how many people you expect to bring with you for your appointment.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. We schedule by appointment only. We are open 7 days a week. Same day appointments require a $25 deposit that will be subtracted from your total upon checkout. The deposit will be forfeited if you NO SHOW for your appointment.
What is the difference between 3D and 4D ultrasound?
3D is a still image and 4D is a 3D image in motion/real time.
Is ultrasound safe for me and my baby?
Ultrasound has been used for over 40 years and there has been no indication of any harmful effects done to the baby or mother from the ultrasound. The FDA has standards in place for the use of ultrasound. Here at Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D we strictly adhere to those standards.
When is the best time during pregnancy to have an ultrasound?
Well that depends. Your baby develops more fat and has a more defined face starting at 28 weeks. We recommend having your 3D/4D ultrasound done around 30 to 33 weeks in the pregnancy but you can have the ultrasound done all the way up to your due date. Later in the third trimester it becomes more difficult to obtain good pictures due to the size/position of the baby, however, every baby is different and we have been successful in obtaining great images all the way up to the due date.
When can I found out my baby’s gender with ultrasound?
We can determine gender with ultrasound starting at 14 weeks with very high accuracy.
What will determine the quality of the images?
There are many factors involved in obtaining clear ultrasound images. Some of the following factors may challenge the ultrasound session, like fetal position, maternal body habitus/maternal tissue, amniotic fluid volume, and also placental location. However, we will do our best under all circumstances to obtain the best images of your little one. Please remember to do your part by staying well hydrated 4 days prior to your session.
How do I prepare for the ultrasound?
If you are in your 1st trimester or early 2nd trimester we require that you come with a full bladder. If you are 24+ weeks we recommend that you increase your water intake several days prior to your appointment. It is always best to eat a small snack/meal 30 minutes before your appointment for any package.
How can I pay for the ultrasound or blood test?
We accept cash, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
FSA & HSA cards may be used for DIAGNOSTIC Ultrasound appointments only.

Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D understands the importance of proper prenatal medical care for both the expectant mother and the fetus. Therefore, in order to provide our clients with appropriate, meaningful ultrasound sessions, Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D requires that you:
1.) Certify that you are under the care of a physician or other healthcare provider, and that you are not obtaining this ultrasound as a replacement for, or in lieu of standard prenatal medical care; and
2.) Provide your OB/GYN name, practice name, and phone number.
As a further condition to receiving ultrasound services from Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D you hereby acknowledge, understand, and agree to the following statements on this disclaimer/waiver:
1. This ultrasound is an elective (entertainment) procedure that I have voluntarily requested, and is not intended to take the place of a diagnostic ultrasound, or any other test or treatment, that has been or may be recommended by my healthcare provider. A Radiologist will not interpret the images obtained and no diagnostic report will be provided.
2. This ultrasound is not covered by insurance; therefore, advanced payment is required. I am financially responsible for charges related to this ultrasound. We have a NO REFUND POLICY.
3. The person who performs this ultrasound, while qualified to provide such a service, is not a doctor, nurse, or healthcare provider, and cannot interpret, diagnose medical conditions from, or otherwise offer medical conclusions regarding the images produced.
4. As used by Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D, this ultrasound is intended to provide enhanced images for the purpose of viewing fetal movements in utero. The Sonographer will make no attempt to guarantee a medically inclusive ultrasound, or fetal well-being.
5. I understand that I am responsible for contacting my own healthcare provider if I have any questions concerning this ultrasound or any other aspect of this pregnancy.
6. I hereby waive, release, acquit, and forever discharge Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D from any and all claims, expenses, demands, costs, causes of action, and other actions and liabilities of any nature whatsoever, whether known or unknown, whether in law or equity, that I, or my baby, may have arisen out of, or in any way relate to my visit to Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D. I relinquish all rights to file any lawsuit, or institute any other action, or legal proceeding of any type arising out of, or in any way related to my visit to Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D.
7. I understand that ultrasound image quality depends on many factors including maternal body tissue composition/body habitus, developmental stage, amniotic fluid volume, and fetal position. Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D makes no guarantee the quality of the digital media, or the ability to visualize any characteristics of the fetus. I acknowledge that fetal cooperation cannot be assured. I understand that Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D is not responsible for a malfunctioning USB flash drive or gender reveal cannon supplied by a third party.
8. If you are less than 8 weeks pregnant, it is possible we may only see an early gestational sac and/or yolk sac and not the baby (embryo) as every pregnancy measures a bit differently and/or ovulation can be earlier or later than expected. A 6 – 7 week pregnancy can look different from person to person.
9. At 14 weeks gestation, we determine gender based off of the nub theory with a high accuracy.
10. I hereby authorize Peek-A-View Baby 3D/4D to disclose pertinent medical information to my healthcare provider if deemed necessary including but not limited to circumstances involving an anomaly or abnormality.
